Who We Are

Kamili Communities, LLC was founded on the vision of cultivating a liberatory future defined by the abundance, harmony, and longevity of our communities. Our mission is achieved through three core roles:

  • We are Culture Bearers, who foster growth and healing via leadership coaching and gatherings

  • We are Waymakers, who facilitate collective impact planning, design teams, and moderate public forums to guide collaborative efforts

  • We are Place Keepers, who partner with institutions to cultivate accessible and just spaces for community-led efforts in places that are stewarded by historically marginalized communities.

What We Value

Our work with individuals and institutions is grounded by values of Black-Indigenous principles that are shared by cultures and communities all over the Black Diaspora. At our core, we champion collectivism and connectedness. Our work is rooted in permanence of radical love for the land and the people.

By leveraging meaningful dialogue (Indaba), facilitating collective work (Ujimaa), and navigating Principled Struggle, we serve as facilitators, guides and stewards, ultimately fostering collective healing and social progress.

Our Frameworks

A key component of our call and charge as consultants is to cultivate thriving organizations embedded within communities by integrating restorative practices, healing justice frameworks, accessible action planning and transformational foresight. We help communities dream, imagine what’s possible, notice pressure points, and use their strengths to make their visions bear fruit.
